Chamomile Honey Pancakes
It's breakfast time! And if there is something that goes very well for the first meal of the day it's pancakes! Regina, from My Tasty Stories, made these amazing Chamomile poppy-seed pancakes and we are stoked!
Try this recipe for your next pancake party and let us know how you like it!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp of raw sugar
- 1 Chamomile tea bag
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 2 tbsp poppy-seeds
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Brazilian Quince Honey - Marmeleiro - for serving
Directions:
Brew the chamomile tea in a ¼ cup of hot water for about 2 minutes. Set aside.
- In a medium sized bowl mix flour and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a different bowl whisk together the egg with raw sugar. Stir the milk into the egg mixture, add the flour, poppy-seeds, vanilla extract, brewed tea, and melted butter. Mix until nice and smooth.
- Preheat your pan on medium-high heat, turn it down to a medium and cook the pancakes for about 40 seconds from both sides.
Serve pancakes with Brazilian Quince - Marmeleiro
