Thanksgiving Cranberry Honey Sauce and Turkey Sandwich
Cranberry Rosemary Honey Sauce
Servings: about 2 cups
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:- 12 oz of fresh cranberries
- 1 cup of water
- Juice from half orange
- One sprig of rosemary
- ½ cup of Brazilian Acacia - Angico (Buy it on Amazon)
- Put all the ingredients in a pot, gently bring to a boil and turn the heat on low. Cook the sauce until almost all cranberries have popped and the sauce has thickened, about 15-20 minutes. Pure the sauce into a serving dish or jar and cool it down before serving.
Thanksgiving Turkey Sandwich
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2 sandwiches
Ingredients:-
Four slices of your favorite bread

4 slices of brie cheese
-
Leftover turkey breast, about 6 slices

About 3 tsp of Cranberry Rosemary Honey Sauce

¼ cup of julienned smoked red peppers
-
2 handfuls of fresh arugula leaves
-
Toast the bread until warm and slightly crispy. Put on the bottom some arugula leaves, then half of the turkey breast. Spread some cranberry sauce on the turkey, top with some brie, smoked red peppers and finish with another turkey breast slices, cranberry sauce, and toasted bread.
