Christmas Dessert Cheese Board
On this board we have homemade Acacia Honey bliss balls (they taste like chocolate-covered hazelnut butter m&ms) + sugared “Amaretto” Cranberries (add a touch of bitter~almond extract for extra deliciousness) + German-style Lebkuchen (sweetened with honey) & stuffed Apricot “sandwiches” (learned how to make these from Thomas’s mom in Brazil - we stuffed them with whipped goat cheese)! Recipe for the "Nutella" Bliss Balls:
Ingredients
1/3 cup pure hazelnut butter
6 dates
1 TBSP coconut flour
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup of dark chocolate
Directions
In a food processor, combine the hazelnut butter, dates, honey, coconut flour until a dough forms. Line a tray with parchment paper, bean scooping out tsp size balls and rolling them until they become smooth. Dip the balls into the melted chocolate using a fork. Place balls on the parchment paper, sprinkle with extra fine shredded coconut flakes and once finished, chill them in the fridge for at least 1 hour before enjoying 😃
