Try this simple Coffee Latte recipe and let us know what you think! Its made with a homemade Honey syrup - infused with Lavender... it's delicious! Aroeira was our honey of choice because it pairs so nicely with the nutty character of the coffee as well as offering subtle caramelized sweetness to the lavender. It's our darkest and richest honey in Harvest001.
Ingredients for the honey lavender syrup:
For the latte:
- 2 shots of espresso
- Honey lavender syrup
- ½ cup of plant milk
- Cinnamon and extra lavender for topping
- Place the water, honey, and lavender into the medium pot and bring to a boil on high heat. Reduce the temperature to a low medium and simmer the syrup for another 7 minutes. Remove from the heat and let it cool.
- Meanwhile, brew 2 shots of espresso and make a froth the soy milk. Pour the syrup into the coffee cups, add espresso and soy milk on top. Sprinkle some cinnamon and additional lavender.
