We're all about toasts here at Bee Seasonal, probably because Thomas is a big sourdough baker (when he's home enough and has the time). We try to always bake a double batch and freeze half. We slice it before we freeze it so that we can take slices out as we need it. This toast recipe was developed by our friend Regina! Our Silvestre honey pairs very nicely with cream cheese as well as the fresh herbs!
Ingredients for 2 toasts:
- Two slices of whole grain bread
- 4 medium strawberries
- 1 stone fruit
- 4-5 tbsp cream cheese
For the topping: thyme leaves, basil, Brazilian Iguaçu River Wildflower Honey - Silvestre
- Toast bread, spread cream cheese on top.
- Slice strawberries and stone fruit and put them on top of the bread. Add some thyme on stone fruit and basil leaves on the strawberries. Drizzle both toasts with Silvestre Brazilian wildflower honey.
