This time of year the nights get a little chillier and it is nice to hang around with family and friends and serve a delicious snacking board. When we think of Autumn, pumpkins and apples come to mind.
We've added some pumpkin honey madeleines - here is the link for our madeleine recipe which we posted a few months ago. To make this recipe taste like fall substitute the fresh lemon juice for pumpkin puree and the lemon zest for pumpkin spice.
On this board you can also find delicious chocolate honey bliss balls - find the recipe here - this is the version rolled in cacao powder.
There always needs to be something crunchy on the board, so we've added carrot sticks, apple slices, hazelnuts, and cashews. We like dipping our carrots in homemade nut butter sweetened with honey and sprinkled with cinnamon. Here is our version.
We enjoy fresh fruits like oranges, blackberries, pomegranate, and kiwis to add a nice tartness to the board. To make things extra decadent, add some chocolate chunks and apple cider donuts.
Garnish with fresh mint to add a nice pop of color. We went with Angico Honey for this board because we like to pair it with fresh fruits.
